This is a 10-inch wooden tambourine, Made in England by New Era, and stage-played by Freddie Mercury in 1978 at a New Haven, CT concert. It features a vintage green New Era sticker and a custom black taped foam handle. The tambourine is loosely encased in a 3-inch wooden frame, which includes a taped photo of Freddie Mercury with the tambourine.
Additional Information: In 1978, Queen embarked on their "Jazz Tour" in support of their album released the same year, featuring singles such as "Bicycle Race" and "Fat Bottomed Girls." This placed Freddie Mercury and the band in a series of legendary performances across the United States, known for their dynamic instrumentation and Mercury's charismatic stage presence.
