Released in 1978, Powerage was AC/DC's first album to feature bassist Cliff Williams and the last studio album of the Bon Scott era to be produced by Harry Vanda and George Young, the production team that had shaped the band's sound since its earliest records. Built around the interlocking guitar work of Angus and Malcolm Young and songs such as "Rock 'n' Roll Damnation," "Down Payment Blues" and "Sin City," the album is frequently cited by fellow musicians and critics as one of the purest expressions of the band's blues-rooted hard rock. It was followed by Highway to Hell in 1979, the final album recorded with Bon Scott before his death in February 1980.
Condition: Both the vinyl record and the sleeve are in very good condition, showing honest and expected signs of wear, aging, and safe archival storage. The cover displays light corner bumps and minor edge creasing, along with faint surface wear that preserves the bold integrity of the graphics.
