Offered Here: Anthrax 1987 Dan Spitz Owned Among the Living Mosh It Up Concert Shirt. This authentic concert shirt, dating back to Anthrax's 1987 Among the Living album cycle, was personally owned and worn by the band's lead guitarist, Dan Spitz. This piece of heavy metal history, featuring one of thrash metal's most iconic slogans, perfectly embodies the personalized stage style of the 1980s. It has been custom hand-modified by having the collar and sleeves removed, and the length shortened by several inches. The laid-flat measurements are approximately 15 inches across the chest by 19 inches in length. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the personal collection of Lianna Spitz, daughter of legendary original Anthrax lead guitarist Dan Spitz. Serving as the lead axeman for the band during their golden era from 1983 to 1995, and again during the highly anticipated classic lineup reunion tours from 2005 to 2008, Spitz was a primary creative force behind the band's multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated catalog. This item comes with impeccable family lineage and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Condition: The shirt is in very good vintage condition, exhibiting common signs of wear, natural aging, and long-term storage that contribute to its historic character. The custom modifications, including the cuts and shortened hem, remain fully intact. Its fabric and graphics have retained their structural stability and visible impact. SKU: LSC1014
