This specific copy is numbered 60 out of a limited run of only 500 units and is personally autographed by Nicholls on the interior.
Additional Information: Would You Believe originally recorded in 1968, is considered one of the great lost albums of British pop-psych, with its release delayed for decades due to industry changes. The reissue by Southwest Records in 1998 brought the album back to attention, solidifying its status as a significant work associated with Nicholls' collaborations with The Small Faces. The album blends intricate harmonies and lush orchestration, evident of the rich psychedelic experimentations of the late 1960s.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The CD and its housing are in excellent condition, showing only the most minimal signs of handling and storage consistent with a carefully preserved collection.
