Item Details: This is a premier piece of heavy metal history featuring a Black Label Society leather vest owned and stage worn by longtime BLS guitarist Nick Catanese. Spanning nearly fifteen years of heavy metal dominance from 1999 through 2013, this vest was personally gifted to Nick by BLS frontman and guitar icon Zakk Wylde. Crafted by the premium brand Red Monkey in a size Medium, the custom vest showcases the classic assortment of iconic BLS embroidered patches and functional metal rings intricately laced with leather strips down the sides. Adding to its exceptional provenance, Nick has personally autographed and dated the inside of the jacket in silver marker with "Nick Catanese BxLxSx 6x3x13." It stands as an incredible, documented artifact from a foundational era of the band, capturing the raw energy of countless live performances.

Black Label Society was formed in the late 1990s by guitarist Zakk Wylde, who had risen to prominence as Ozzy Osbourne's lead guitarist beginning in the late 1980s, and the band became an outlet for his blend of heavy, groove-driven metal, Southern rock influence and Sabbath-inspired riffing. Nick Catanese served as Wylde's rhythm guitar partner through much of the band's first decade and a half, a period that produced albums such as "Stronger Than Death," "The Blessed Hellride," "Mafia" and "Order of the Black." The band also cultivated a distinctive identity built around biker-style imagery, with its patch-covered vests and devoted "Berzerker" fan chapters becoming a recognizable part of the 2000s heavy metal scene.
Condition: The item remains in very good condition, presenting authentic signs of age, stage use, and storage that enhance its rock memorabilia pedigree. The metal rings have developed a slight natural rust patina over the years, and some of the embroidered patches exhibit minor wear and discoloration from its time on the road. The silver marker signature on the interior remains clear and highly legible against the lining.
