Black Label Society was formed by guitarist Zakk Wylde in the late 1990s, after he had made his name as Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist, and it grew into one of the most enduring heavy metal bands of its era, known for its sludgy, blues-rooted riffs and a fiercely loyal fan base organized into worldwide "chapters." Nick Catanese, nicknamed the "Evil Twin," served as the band's rhythm guitarist for more than a decade, anchoring its dual-guitar sound alongside Wylde on stage and on several studio albums. Released in 2010, Order of the Black was Black Label Society's first studio album in four years and reaffirmed the band's standing in the modern metal scene.
