Blue Oyster Cult, Nazareth & KISS 1974 Tennessee Canceled Concert Poster.
Offered here is a highly desirable concert poster promoting the "Dancing on the Grass" music festival scheduled for Sunday, July 7, 1974, at the West Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Jackson, Tennessee. The lineup featured Blue Öyster Cult, Nazareth, KISS, and Larry Raspberry and the Highsteppers.
This event is remembered by rock memorabilia collectors because KISS was unable to perform after guitarist Ace Frehley became ill, resulting in the band's cancellation before the show. As a result, posters advertising KISS for this event represent a fascinating piece of early concert history from the band's first year of national touring.
