Offered Here: Eagles 2015 The History Of The Eagles Tour Backstage Archive
Item Details: Immersed in rock history, this lot features six highly exclusive, laminated passes from the acclaimed History of the Eagles – Live in Concert tour. This backstage archive includes three Road Manager laminates labeled "#1", one Escort badge, and two additional laminated "#1" passes. All items are in very good, road-used condition, showcasing authentic wear from one of classic rock's most successful retrospective tours. This specific run was particularly historic as it reunited the iconic lineup of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, and original guitarist Bernie Leadon. Crucially, this served as the final tour to feature founding member Glenn Frey before his tragic passing in January 2016, making this an incredibly significant collection of artifacts from the definitive final chapter of the band's original era.
The Eagles were one of the most commercially successful American bands of the 1970s, blending rock, country and folk into a polished sound that helped define the Southern California rock of the era, and their compilation Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) ranks among the best-selling albums in United States history. The History of the Eagles tour, launched in 2013 alongside the documentary of the same name, presented the band's catalog chronologically and brought founding guitarist Bernie Leadon back onstage with the group for the first time in decades. It proved to be the final tour with co-founder Glenn Frey, who died in January 2016, closing the chapter of the band led by the songwriting partnership of Frey and Don Henley.
