Offered Here: An exceptional opportunity to acquire an ironclad piece of rock guitar history, this vintage 1986 Marshall speaker cabinet was personally owned and utilized both on stage and in the studio by the legendary Edward Van Halen. Loaded with four premium 12-inch Celestion G12H Greenback speakers, this powerhouse cabinet features extraordinary, hidden provenance locked inside. Sourced on the road from local music stores during tour downtime in the mid-to-late 1980s, the gear was acquired by Eddie's legendary guitar technician and master luthier, Randall "Zeke" Clark. Clark meticulously rebuilt, hand-wired, and hot-rodded the cabinet, collaborating directly with Van Halen to dial in the elusive, mythical "brown sound" required for active rotation on tour and inside the famous 5150 Studios. Hidden away from public eyes, the interior of the cabinet features a handsigned inscription by the master craftsman himself reading, "Handwired by Zeke Clark for EVH 5150 1986." Serving as the trusted custodian of Eddie's tone from 1985 to 1993, Clark maintained the band's sonic engine through the monumental 5150, OU812, and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge eras. The cabinet presents in amazing, tour-used condition, showcasing minor nicks and dings that authenticate its incredible journey alongside one of rock's most influential guitar pioneers.
