Offered Here: Gary Panter 1980 The Asshole Zine Autographed by Gary Panter. This rare original 1980 half-size zine, titled "The Asshole," was created by the influential graphic artist Gary Panter. Consisting of 25 pages, it was printed in a limited edition of 500 copies in January 1980. The zine captures the DIY aesthetic of the era, and this specific copy was personally gifted to Ian McLagan and features Gary Panter's autograph in black ink on the title page.

Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The zine is in very good to good condition, consistent with a fragile, independent publication of its age. It exhibits edge wear, foxing, and signs of liquid exposure on some pages, which reflect its use and historical presence as a personal item from McLagan’s collection.
