Isaac Hayes 1987 Black History Promotional Tour Photos & Press Releases
An impressive collection of original Isaac Hayes press and photo material from his 1987 "U-Turn / Black History Month" tour. Included are twenty 8 x 10-inch black & white publicity photos as well as a few dozen CBS Records press releases and tour itineraries. The items in this lot are in excellent condition and come from the private collection of Steven Mandel, one of the premier music industry publicists between 1979 and 1994. Throughout his career Mandel worked for The Press Office, Rogers & Cowan, record companies and directly for bands and artists, including Van Halen, David Lee Roth, David Bowie, Wham, George Michael, Beastie Boys, Pink Floyd and many others. A certificate of Authenticity - signed by Steven Mandel - will be included with this lot.
