John Barbata 1952 - 1961 Primary School & Scouting Ephemera & Photo Lot
An interesting and original assortment of items from the early life of Turtles and Jefferson Starship drummer John Barbata. Collected here are first and second grade report cards, third grade promotion card, two Boy Scouts of America cards, a middle school diploma from Saint Mary School in 1960, and five photographs. These items are in very good to fair condition with common signs of ageing, wear, and storage. This lot comes from the estate of John Barbata, drummer for The Turtles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. Barbata passed away in 2024 after a long career. He recorded 35 albums and was a session drummer on many more. A Certificate of Authenticity - signed by Barbata's estate - will be included with this lot.
