He joined the band in September of 1973 and was primarily brought in as the drum technician for Peter Criss. He eventually parted ways with the band after the 1976 ‘Destroyer’ tour. This award comes directly from the private collection of Peter ‘Moose’ Oreckinto and will be accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity, signed by Oreckinto.
Released in October 1974 on Casablanca Records, Hotter Than Hell was KISS's second album and was recorded in Los Angeles with producers Kenny Kerner and Richie Wise, its heavy, raw sound and Japanese-inspired cover reflecting the band's early visual and musical identity. Though it sold modestly at first, songs such as "Parasite," "Got to Choose," and "Hotter Than Hell" became fixtures of the group's concerts and appeared on the 1975 live album Alive!, the record that brought KISS its commercial breakthrough. The album was later certified gold as the band's popularity grew, and it remains a key document of the hard-touring period in which KISS built its following through theatrical live shows.
