The year 1975 marked KISS's commercial breakthrough with the double live album "Alive!", which captured the energy of the band's concerts and led into the studio album "Destroyer" in 1976. Stanley's songwriting and stage persona remained central to KISS through decades of lineup changes, and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
