Item Details: This is a sensational piece of tour-used rock history featuring a Samson BR-3 guitar wireless system receiver utilized by KISS during their powerhouse arena tours of the 1980s and 1990s. This specific technical unit boasts elite band provenance, having been used on stage by both co-founder Paul Stanley and lead guitarist Bruce Kulick. Making it a spectacular display piece, the top of the chassis features the iconic KISS logo stenciled directly onto the metal, while the reverse side is marked with an official KISS inventory asset code. It stands as an incredible artifact linking two legendary guitarists from a vital era of the band's history.
Provenance / Authenticity: Sold in 2001 through the official Lelands KISS Auction
After unmasking publicly in 1983, KISS spent the following decade as a non-makeup hard rock band, with Paul Stanley serving as the group's primary frontman and creative driver alongside Gene Simmons through albums such as Lick It Up, Asylum, Crazy Nights, Hot in the Shade and Revenge. Bruce Kulick joined as lead guitarist in 1984 and held the position for twelve years, longer than any other KISS lead guitarist up to that time, contributing to the band's studio work and the 1993 live album Alive III. This era sustained KISS as a major arena act through the rise and fall of 1980s hard rock and bridged the period between the original lineup's breakup and its 1996 makeup reunion.
Condition: The wireless receiver remains in very good condition, showing the authentic, light signs of road wear, ageing, and storage expected from genuine, production-traveled hardware. The stenciled logo remains highly visible on the surface, and the entire unit presents beautifully. Please note that this piece is being offered strictly as a non-tested collectible item for display or museum exhibition.
