This collection includes three original handwritten postcards from The Who’s drummer, Keith Moon, sent to his then-girlfriend and future wife, Kim Kerrigan. The postcards, which are postmarked on May 5, October 10, and one other illegible date in 1965, provide insight into Moon’s early romance with Kim while he was on tour.

Keith Moon's dynamic and unpredictable drumming style with The Who was gaining recognition during this period. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists.
