This lot features an extremely rare 1967 tour itinerary for The Who's first major American tour, sent by Keith Moon to his wife, Kim Moon. The document includes Moon's handwritten notes, detailing dollar amounts indicating the couple’s effort in saving for a home. It concludes with Moon’s plea for postcards at tour stops, alongside a spirited "HURRAY" near the final tour date. This unique artifact provides insights into Moon's personal life during a significant period in The Who's career.

Additional Information: The Who's first major American tour in 1967 marked a pivotal moment for the band as they transitioned from being a UK sensation to achieving international fame. While touring in America, The Who performed alongside major acts such as Herman's Hermits, which helped cement their reputation in the United States. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.

Condition: The itinerary is in very good condition considering its age of over 55 years. It exhibits minor, age-related discoloration and staple holes, which are consistent with typical wear for documents of this type and era.
