Led Zeppelin 1976 Presence Japanese Promotional Album Poster
In the 1970s, Warner-Pioneer and Swan Song unveiled a collection of promotional posters to boost the visibility of Led Zeppelin in Japan. Typically, these posters featured the distinctive Warner-Pioneer and Swan Song logo at the bottom and occasionally included the "not for sale" message. These posters have no printed release date, making it very difficult to pinpoint when they were released. Based on the year of the photograph, we believe this poster was for the 1976 'Presence' release. Further, this poster was released machine folded, as well as unfolded. The latter version was distributed to record stores and offered as a free gift with purchase on the day of release. The machine folded variant was included with select promotional copies of the album and only distributed to radio stations and music press. This version is the more rare of the two - in addition to it already being an exceptionally scarce print. The poster measures 22 x 33 inches and is in excellent overall condition with some minor age spotting on the back.
