Offered Here: Little Walter 1965 Autographed Muleskinners Card. This is a Muleskinners card signed by the celebrated blues musician Little Walter. The card contains a personalized message, reading "to my pal Ian - Little Walter," written in blue ballpoint pen.
Additional Information: Little Walter, a preeminent figure in blues music, was renowned for his innovative use of the harmonica, creating a modern blues sound. His influence extended beyond the 1950s, and by 1965, he had already left a significant mark on the Chicago blues scene, frequently performing and recording both as a solo artist and with other legendary blues musicians.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The card is in very good condition, displaying common signs of age consistent with its period. It retains clear legibility and presents no major damage.
