Offered Here: Ronnie Wood 1994 Original Black & White Ink Drawing Signed & Personalized. This is an original 8.5 x 11 inch drawing by Ronnie Wood, featuring the image of Kim McLagan, rendered in black ink on the reverse side of a xeroxed Voodoo Lounge tour clipping. The piece is signed and personalized by Wood with the inscription, "If everyone would get out of the way...Kim would come through," and is further signed "Ronaldo '94." The item retains staple holes in the top right corner.
Additional Information: Ronnie Wood, noted for his tenure with The Rolling Stones, created this drawing during the 1994 Voodoo Lounge tour, a tour that marked their return after a five-year hiatus and supported their album of the same name. The tour was notable for its extensive global reach and was the first without bassist Bill Wyman, cementing the band's status in the 1990s rock landscape.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The drawing is in very good condition, with the only minor defect being staple holes in the top right corner. The measurements are 8.5 x 11 inches.
