Offered Here: Spinal Tap 1992 Mr. Horsepower Custom Guitar Autographed By Nigel Tufnel. This legendary 2001 Ernie Ball Music Man "Mr. Horsepower" guitar, Serial No. 105986, is one of only 25 limited-edition replicas created for the Casey Lee Ball Foundation. Originally debuted by Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel during the 1992 Break Like the Wind tour, it carries a signature from Christopher Guest (Nigel Tufnel) on the front-top of the headstock. The guitar features unique elements such as a functioning "Attackometer" tachometer, a gear-shifter tremolo arm capped with an eight-ball, and innovative dragstrip-style lighting. For an added comedic effect, the guitar's fretboard has upside-down inlaid note letters. The lot includes an array of Spinal Tap memorabilia, such as an unopened This Is Spinal Tap VHS, a rare 1992 Simpsons promotional poster, Spinal Tap: The Big Black Book, and a set of three 12-inch action figures. The Nigel Tufnel-themed packaging is also signed by Christopher Guest.

Additional Information: The "Mr. Horsepower" guitar design was influenced by Clay Smith Cams hot rod culture and became famous during the 1992 tour, during which Spinal Tap performed to promote their album, "Break Like the Wind." The album itself was a humorous homage to rock music stereotypes and followed the fictional band Spinal Tap's antics, further cementing their place in rock-and-roll parody history.

Condition: Very good condition, with all components intact and operational. Signature on the headstock is faded but present. Comes with a premium G&G hardshell case for protection.
