A collectible Teddy Pendergrass 10-inch acetate from the Johnny "D" De Mairo collection and previously belonged to Kenny Gamble, who along with Leon Huff were pioneering songwriting duo Gamble & Huff, which formed Philadelphia International Records and created the "Philly Sound." Condition: Very Good, Clean This 10-inch acetate comes from the Johnny "D" De Mairo collection. A New York based DJ and producer, De Mairo founded Henry Street Music in 1994, which was also the year he started a 15-year tenure with Atlantic Records as an A&R / Remix coordinator and senior director of crossover music for Warner Music. He has authored two books and has been programming his internet radio station - The Johnny D Experience - since 2019. In the vinyl community, the 'Johnny D' collection of 7 and 12-inch acetates and test pressings is known to be among the largest, rarest, and most valuable in the world.
