Item Details: An exceptional piece of music history, this 1969 Yellow Submarine album sleeve is a premier collectible for any serious fan of The Beatles. This original front-cover sleeve features the rare distinction of being signed twice by the band's iconic rhythm section. Ringo Starr has boldly signed his name in black marker, and Paul McCartney has added his signature in clear blue marker. Both autographs are prominently displayed across the front of the artwork. This item is offered in very good condition and is presented as sleeve only, meaning the vinyl record itself is not included.
Provenance / Authenticity: Roger Epperson (REAL) Letter of Authenticity
Yellow Submarine, released in January 1969, served as the soundtrack to the 1968 animated film of the same name, whose psychedelic visual style, shaped by art director Heinz Edelmann, became closely tied to the Beatles' late-1960s image. The album paired four previously unreleased Beatles songs, including George Harrison's "It's All Too Much" and John Lennon's "Hey Bulldog," with George Martin's orchestral score for the film. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the band's bassist and drummer, have continued as active recording and touring artists in the decades since the group's 1970 breakup.
Condition: Very good, sleeve only, no album.
