Offered Here: The Beatles 2008 Zeke Clark Owned Guitar Strap Autographed by Beatles Recording Engineer Geoff Emerick With COA

Item Details: An exceptional piece of rock and roll history, this 2008 Beatles-branded guitar strap boasts a remarkable association with the creators of the band's iconic sound. The strap was personally owned by Zeke Clark and is prominently autographed in a vibrant silver marker by the legendary Beatles recording engineer Geoff Emerick. Known for his groundbreaking sonic innovations on seminal albums like Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Abbey Road, Emerick’s signature transforms this piece into an elite collectible that bridges a trusted industry insider with the technical mastermind behind the Fab Four's greatest studio achievements.

Provenance/Authenticity: Randall "Zeke" Clark is a renowned luthier and legendary guitar/amp technician who got his start in the San Francisco music scene in the 70s, working with various A-list artists until moving to LA in the 80s, where he worked for Eddie Van Halen.

From 1985 to 1993, he served as Edward Van Halen’s lead guitar and amp tech, transitioning to the crew with Sammy Hagar to maintain the band's gear through the monumental 5150, OU812, and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge eras.

Beyond his historic tenure as the custodian of Eddie's tone, Clark's elite five-decade career includes building, repairing, and maintaining specialized gear for iconic artists such as Prince, Sammy Hagar, Journey, Heart, Poison, and others. This curated selection of items offers collectors a unique and direct connection to rock history through the hands of a master craftsman who shaped the sound of guitar royalty.

This item was personally handled, vetted, and released by Zeke Clark, ensuring its authenticity and rock-history provenance. Zeke Clark utilizes an Official Personal Signature Stamp to validate and inventory documents and artifacts released directly from his private estate. This item comes with his personal ink-imprinted signature stamp on the certificate of authenticity, which serves as his legally binding, authorized mark of verification and carries the full weight of a hand-signed signature.

Geoff Emerick became the Beatles' principal recording engineer at EMI's Abbey Road Studios while still in his early twenties, beginning with the 1966 album Revolver, where techniques such as close-miking Ringo Starr's drums and running John Lennon's vocal through a Leslie speaker on "Tomorrow Never Knows" broke with the studio's established recording practices. His engineering on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band earned a Grammy Award, and he went on to work on Abbey Road and later on Paul McCartney's Band on the Run, receiving further Grammy recognition. Emerick's work with producer George Martin helped turn the recording studio into a creative instrument in its own right, influencing how rock records were made for decades afterward.

Condition: The item is presented in very good condition, retaining excellent structural integrity and visual appeal. The silver ink signature remains crisp, bright, and highly legible against the strap. In keeping with its history, the piece exhibits only minor, authentic signs of wear, natural aging, and storage, which do not detract from its overall display quality.
