The Turtles 1966 - 1969 John Barbata Lot of 2 Suit Jackets
An original and very stylish lot of two suit jackets belonging to Turtles drummer John Barbata. One is an Italian made Zeidler & Zeidler black corded jacket with measurements of 19 inches pit to pit and 28 inches in length, the other is a Harris Tweed brand Herringbone jacket with measurements of 19 inches pit to pit and a length of 31 inches. Both jackets are in very good condition with common signs of wear, ageing, and storage. The Tweed jacket has some small holes along the backside by the vent and couple up near the shoulders. This lot comes from the estate of John Barbata, drummer for The Turtles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. Barbata passed away in 2024 after a long career. He recorded 35 albums and was a session drummer on many more. A Certificate of Authenticity - signed by Barbata's estate - will be included with this lot.
