The Turtles 1967 U.K. London Speakeasy Club Lot of 42 Color Slides
A collectible and authentic lot of forty-two original color slides of candid shots from the Turtles jaunt across the pond in June of 1967. The group played London's Speakeasy Club, from whence these images came, along with recording performances for 'Top of the Pops' and 'Saturday Club.' These slides are in extremely good condition with minor signs of ageing, wear, and storage. This lot comes from the estate of John Barbata, drummer for The Turtles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. Barbata passed away in 2024 after a long career. He recorded 35 albums and was a session drummer on many more. A Certificate of Authenticity - signed by Barbata's estate - will be included with this lot.
