Item Details: This original 11 x 17 promotional poster printed on thin paper stock was issued for the 1996 release of The Who's legendary Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 album. The item is hand-signed in gold marker by iconic founding members Pete Townshend and John Entwistle. Representing a rare piece of rock history celebrating one of the band's most historic performances, this poster is fully certified by James Spence Authentication under JSA Authentication Number CC76920.

The Who's performance at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival, one of the largest rock gatherings of its era, came as the band was at a creative and commercial peak following the release of the rock opera Tommy and the album Live at Leeds. Their set, which featured a substantial portion of Tommy alongside earlier hits, captured the high-volume, improvisational stage approach that had made the group one of the most influential live acts of the 1960s and 1970s. The 1996 release of the full concert recording gave wider audiences access to a performance long regarded as an important document of the original lineup of Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle and Keith Moon.
