Offered Here: Van Halen 1978 Thank You Award From Warner Bros. To WILS-FM. This award, measuring 19 x 28 inches, was presented to WILS-FM in Lansing, MI by Warner Bros. and Van Halen. It features an unusual design with the debut Van Halen album shown, yet oddly it utilizes the Warner Bros 5-song demo promotional red album with the B-side facing out.
Additional Information: Van Halen's debut self-titled album, released in 1978, established the band as a dominant force in rock music, due in large part to iconic tracks such as "Runnin' with the Devil" and "Eruption." The album's release coincided with their first world tour, during which they rapidly gained international fame.
