Offered Here: Winger 2006-2008 "Blue Suede Shoes" Award, Flag & Photo. This lot features a glass award presented to Kip Winger by Gen. Harold Cross in recognition of Winger's original composition "Blue Suede Shoes," honoring American servicemen. Along with the award, which measures 10 x 4 x 14 inches, is the very last U.S. flag that flew over Forward Operating Base Kalsu in Iraq before its turnover to Iraqi control. A photo of Kip Winger with Gen. Harold Cross is also included.
