ZZ Top 1970s - 1990s Miscellaneous Collectibles Lot w/ COA
A very nice lot of desirable ZZ Top collectibles that includes 11 "That Lil 'Ol Band From Texas" bumper stickers from the 1970s (5 brown and 6 black), two El Loco promotional flyers from 1981, a "ZZ Top For President" sticker from 1984, a 1985 Afterburner keychain, and a rare flyer from 1999 for a private party to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary. All items are in very good overall condition. This lot comes from the private collection of John Douglas, professional drummer and veteran drum technician for Alex Van Halen, Tico Torres, Joey Kramer and others. In recent years, John has performed on various tours with Aerosmith, ZZ Top and Billy Gibbons. Outside of his renowned drum skills, Douglas is an established artist who's paintings are highly collectible and frequently the center of art gallery exhibitions around the country. He has also painted countless drum kits, kickdrum heads and gongs for the likes of Alex Van Halen, Nicko McBrain, Frank Beard, Alex Gonzalez, Tico Torres, Joey Kramer and others. Included with this lot is a John Douglas signed Certificate of Authenticity.
