AC/DC was formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, and became one of the best-selling hard rock bands in history. Their 1980 album Back in Black, recorded after the death of singer Bon Scott with new vocalist Brian Johnson, is among the best-selling albums of all time, and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
