Offered Here: Eagles 1995 Lot of 2 Hell Freezes Over Tour Itineraries
Item Details: An exceptional, behind-the-scenes archival lot from one of the most famous comebacks in rock history, this collection features two authentic tour itineraries from the final leg of the Eagles' monumental Hell Freezes Over Tour. Providing an intimate look at the meticulous day-to-day operations of the band and production crew, these wire-bound notebook itineraries cover the precise schedule running from Monday, October 30 through December 10, 1995. The two pieces contain identical, comprehensive logistical information, uniquely presented as a matching full-size and half-size pairing designed for different administrative needs on the road. Both tour-issued notebooks are preserved in very good condition, making this dual-itinerary lot a prized, museum-quality addition for any serious Eagles collector looking to own a documented piece of classic rock tour history.
The Eagles disbanded in 1980, and Don Henley later remarked that the group would reunite "when hell freezes over," a phrase the band adopted as the title of its 1994 comeback. The reunion of Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Felder and Timothy B. Schmit began with an MTV concert special and the album Hell Freezes Over, which combined live recordings with new studio songs and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The tour that followed ran into 1996 and became one of the most commercially successful of the decade, showing that a classic rock act could return after a long hiatus and draw arena and stadium audiences across generations.
