Offered Here: Eagles 1996 Lot of 2 Final Leg Hell Freezes Over Tour Itineraries

Item Details: An exceptional insider archive from one of the most celebrated comebacks in rock history, this lot features two authentic tour itineraries from the final leg of the Eagles' historic Hell Freezes Over Tour. Representing the band's monumental first major outing following their acrimonious 1980 breakup, this tour supported their massively successful live/studio hybrid album and featured the iconic lineup of Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Felder, and Timothy B. Schmit. This unique pairing includes one full-size itinerary and one half-size itinerary, both spanning the final dates of the historic multi-year run from June 4 through August 5, 1996. Adding immense archival value and a fascinating layer of backstage realism, both tour-issued books are peppered with handwritten notes from an unknown insider source. Preserved in very good condition, this dual-itinerary lot provides an invaluable, firsthand look at the daily logistics that powered a definitive era of rock royalty.

The Eagles disbanded in 1980 after a decade that produced some of the best-selling records in American history, and Don Henley's remark that the group would reunite "when hell freezes over" became the title of their 1994 comeback. The resulting album paired live performances recorded for an MTV special, including a reworked acoustic "Hotel California," with four new studio songs, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The reunion tour that followed was one of the highest-grossing of the mid-1990s and reestablished the band as a major touring act, a run that preceded their 1998 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Condition: Very good, road used, itineraries have some handwritten notes
