Offered Here: Eagles 2007-2008 Lot of 2 CMA Credentials Issued To The Tour Manager
Item Details: This exceptional lot offers two rare, official backstage credentials from the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards spanning consecutive years in 2007 and 2008. Both items are highly coveted Talent/All Access laminated passes issued directly to the Eagles' veteran tour manager, Jerry Vaccarino, during a high-profile era of crossover success for the band. Serving as rarely seen collectibles that bridge classic rock history with country music's biggest nights, both laminates are preserved in very good, authentic, event-used condition, offering premier provenance for any serious music memorabilia collector.
The Eagles helped define the country-rock sound of the 1970s, and their blend of harmony vocals, steel guitar and rock songwriting influenced generations of country artists, a debt acknowledged by the 1993 tribute album "Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles," recorded by country performers. In 2007 the band released "Long Road Out of Eden," its first studio album of new material since "The Long Run" in 1979, sold in the United States initially through Walmart. The album's single "How Long" won the Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, reflecting the band's renewed standing with country audiences during this period.
