Offered Here: Edward Van Halen 1982 Framed & Lighted Fractured Wrist X-Ray Display. This unique piece is a 22 x 23 inch shadowbox-style backlit display featuring an x-ray of Edward Van Halen's wrist, taken in 1982 after he fractured it during the Diver Down tour. The incident occurred in a New York City hotel room, leading to the cancellation of three shows. The display includes the x-ray, two photos of Edward with his cast, and a descriptive plaque, all set in a grey textured matted frame with multi-colored backlighting, remote control, and a 110 volt plug.
Additional Information: During the Diver Down tour in 1982, Edward Van Halen's wrist fracture was a notable event as it temporarily halted the tour. Diver Down, an album released by Van Halen in the same year, contained five cover songs and continued the band's commercial success, featuring singles such as "(Oh) Pretty Woman" and "Dancing in the Street."
