Additional Information: Ian McLagan studied at Twickenham College of Technology and School of Art during the early 1960s, before shifting his focus entirely to music. He joined The Muleskinners in 1963 before becoming a key member of the iconic band Small Faces in 1965, which marked the beginning of his illustrious career in rock music. The 1960s era was fundamental in shaping McLagan's artistic direction, bridging his involvement in both visual and musical arts.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: Both pieces remain in very good condition with a natural warm discoloration consistent with their age. The drawings are well-preserved, displaying the intricate details and colors as originally rendered.
