Offered Here: Ian Mclagan 1960s Five Pieces of Original Hand-drawn Artwork Large & Small. This collection includes five original hand-drawn works from Ian McLagan’s time as a student at the Twickenham College of Technology and School of Art. The set features one 15 x 20-inch psychedelic still life rendered in black pen and four smaller 5 x 8-inch drawings with intricate square and circular designs in pen and pencil. These works represent a pivotal era before McLagan pursued his music career with The Small Faces, Faces, and The Rolling Stones.

Additional Information: Ian McLagan, known for his keyboard work with The Small Faces and Faces, was part of the influential rock scene in the 1960s and 1970s. Before embracing his musical career, McLagan attended the Twickenham College of Technology and School of Art. His involvement in the London music scene eventually led him to play with some of the biggest names in rock, including The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.

Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.

Condition: The artwork is in very good condition. The large-scale still life measures 15 x 20 inches, and the smaller pieces measure 5 x 8 inches. All pieces display minimal signs of wear, consistent with their age, and maintain their original pen and pencil detailing.
