Offered Here: Iron Maiden 1980/1982 Dan Spitz Owned Iron Maiden/Number of the Beast Lot of 2 LPs. This authentic lot includes two vintage vinyl LPs: Iron Maiden's 1980 self-titled debut album and their landmark 1982 release, 'The Number of the Beast.' Both albums are United States pressings and were directly sourced from the personal collection of Dan Spitz, lead guitarist of Anthrax. These albums represent a significant era in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, pivotal in shaping the evolution of heavy music. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the personal collection of Lianna Spitz, daughter of legendary original Anthrax lead guitarist Dan Spitz. Serving as the lead axeman for the band during their golden era from 1983 to 1995, and again during the highly anticipated classic lineup reunion tours from 2005 to 2008, Spitz was a primary creative force behind the band's multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated catalog. This item comes with impeccable family lineage and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Condition: Both vinyl records and their corresponding jackets are in very good vintage condition overall, showing common signs of wear, aging, and long-term storage. The outer covers display minor to moderate wear along the edges, corners, and surfaces, with the self-titled debut album jacket specifically featuring a crease across one of the top corners. The vinyl discs maintain their structural integrity and gloss, showing light surface handling and minor signs of play typical of well-preserved archival records of this vintage. SKU: LSC1038
