Kittie formed in London, Ontario, in the mid-1990s around sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander, and their 2000 debut album Spit, released while the members were still teenagers, brought an all-female lineup into the male-dominated nu-metal scene at the height of its commercial popularity. Driven by the single "Brackish" and Morgan Lander's alternation between melodic singing and harsh vocals, the album gained the band substantial MTV exposure and a large international audience. Kittie's success with Spit made them one of the most visible women-led acts in heavy metal at the turn of the millennium, and they went on to a long career that continued well beyond the nu-metal era.
Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear, ageing or storage.
