Offered Here: Otis Redding 1967 Lot of 8 Secretarial Carbon Signatures. This collection comprises eight carbon copies of letters from 1967, managed by Otis Redding’s business office. Six of these contain signatures in the name of Otis Redding by Shelley Stewart, who led the Artist and Productions department. Another letter bears a signature from a different individual, and one letter is personally signed by Shelley Stewart. Please note that these are all secretarial signatures, not original autographs by Otis Redding himself.
Additional Information: In 1967, Otis Redding was at the peak of his career, riding high on the success of his music. This period marked the release of some of his most famous tracks, including "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay," which was recorded just a few days before his untimely death in December 1967. During this time, Redding's influence was resonant in shaping the soul and R&B genres.
