It was previously owned by the renowned keyboardist Ian McLagan, known for his role in the iconic rock bands The Small Faces and Faces.
Additional Information: "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" is the novel by Philip K. Dick that served as the inspiration for the influential 1982 film Blade Runner. The novel was first published in 1968 and explores themes of identity, reality, and consciousness. The UK edition by Rapp & Whiting appeared in 1969, making it one of the earliest international editions of this significant work in science fiction literature.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The item is in very good condition overall. The book exhibits minor wear and rubbing along the edges and cover, with some minor discoloration of the pages due to age. There are pen marks on two titles within the titles list. The dust jacket is complete but shows edge wear, some markings, and light discoloration, along with small pen scribbles on the back inside flap.
