Roger Waters co-founded Pink Floyd in London in the mid-1960s and, after Syd Barrett's departure, became the band's bassist, principal lyricist and chief conceptual voice, shaping concept albums such as The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977) and The Wall (1979). His lyrics on themes of alienation, mental illness, war and the pressures of modern life helped define progressive rock's ambitions, and The Dark Side of the Moon became one of the best-selling albums in history, spending more than 900 weeks on the Billboard 200. After leaving Pink Floyd in 1985, Waters pursued a solo career that included the large-scale 1990 staging of The Wall in Berlin, and he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Pink Floyd in 1996.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear to the body, guitar is sold as-is.
