Offered Here: The Muleskinners 1964-1965 Rare Black & White Heavy Cardstock Poster. This lot features a rare 15.5 x 20-inch black-and-white poster of The Muleskinners, printed on heavy cardboard stock and dating to pre-1965. Unlike standard promotional materials, this artifact is a substantial representation of the band that marked the beginning of Ian McLagan's career before he joined the Small Faces.
Additional Information: The Muleskinners were part of the British rhythm and blues scene in the early 1960s, an influential period in music history that saw the emergence of many significant rock musicians. Ian McLagan, who would later become a member of The Small Faces, played a key role in this era, contributing to the band's distinctive sound prior to his prominent career with other legendary acts.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The poster is in good to very good condition, with dimensions of 15.5 x 20 inches. Constructed of heavy cardboard stock, it has maintained its integrity over the decades.
