This black t-shirt, sized Large, is a high-quality reprint of a classic 1964 promotional poster for the Muleskinners, a band that included a young Ian McLagan before his rise to fame with the Small Faces. The shirt features white and gray screenprinting with the slogan, “Them Muleskinners Knockout R&B Here Tonight.” It is in new and unworn condition and accompanied by an original photograph from the McLagan estate depicting the actual 1964 poster.
Additional Information: Ian McLagan, before achieving fame with the Small Faces, played with the Muleskinners, a group rooted in the early days of British rhythm and blues during the 1960s. Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
