Offered Here: The Sex Pistols 1998 21st Anniversary Edition of Never Mind The Bollocks CD Autographed By Glen Matlock. This rare promotional copy of the CD features a personal inscription in black ink from Glen Matlock, the original bassist of the Sex Pistols, addressed to Ian McLagan of The Small Faces and Faces. The inscription reads, "Mac Rock On. Matlock."
Additional Information: Released in 1998, this 21st Anniversary Edition of "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" celebrates the original 1977 debut album, which was pivotal in the British punk rock movement. Glen Matlock, despite leaving the band before the album's release, played a foundational role in the Sex Pistols' early sound and songwriting. His autograph adds significant historical value to this edition.
Provenance/Authenticity: This lot comes directly from the private collection of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian McLagan, legendary founder and keyboard player of iconic rock band The Small Faces / Faces. McLagan who also toured with The Rolling Stones, The New Barbarians and Bob Dylan, and recorded with dozens of artists. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Lee McLagan, on behalf of the Ian McLagan estate.
Condition: The promotional CD is in very good condition, exhibiting minimal signs of wear and retaining its clear cover art and legible inscription.
